About the project
NutriM8 is an intelligent nutrition assistant that uses AI to help users track their diet, understand nutritional content, and achieve their health goals. The platform features advanced AI integration through custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
The problem
Existing nutrition apps require tedious manual entry and don't provide intelligent insights. Users wanted a conversational interface that could understand natural language food descriptions and provide personalized recommendations.
What we built
We built 20+ custom MCP tools that enable Claude to interact with nutrition databases, user profiles, and health metrics. A novel vector search technique achieves 70% context reduction for efficient LLM interactions while maintaining accuracy.
